Heat treatment
Ebroacero S.A. has the necessary facilities to carry out the heat treatments required for the different types of steel it manufactures.
Performance of heat treatments such as:
- Annealing
- Normalised
- Water quenching or air quenching
- Tempering
- Stabilized or Stress Relieving
For this purpose, it has four furnaces within its facilities with the dimensions detailed below:
- Rectangular mobile hearth furnace in which a maximum temperature of 1200ºC can be reached with a maximum load of 20 tons, dimensions 4000 x 3500 x 1970 mm.
- Rectangular mobile hearth furnace in which a maximum temperature of 1000ºC can be reached with a maximum load of 30 tons, with dimensions 6500 x 3500 x 1700 mm.
- Rectangular furnace in which a maximum temperature of 1200ºC can be reached with a maximum load of 3.5 tons, with dimensions 5000 x 1500 x 1700 mm.
- Circular pit furnace in which a maximum temperature of 1000ºC can be reached with a maximum load of 30 tons with dimensions of 6000mm diameter x 2500 mm height.
